Alpha Media’s 93.1 Katy Country (KMKT-FM) has raised $85,000 in support of law enforcement. The proceeds go to Texoma Back the Badge Foundation.
The main component was the fifth annual Back the Badge Memorial Golf Tournament. Additionally, the station raised money through a helicopter ball drop, where golf balls were dropped from a helicopter onto the green, and the first ball landing in the hole won $1,000.

Over the past 5 years, $262,000 has been raised to support local law enforcement families in Southern Oklahoma and North Texas. We hope this event continues to create an overwhelming sense of what first responders do for us on a daily basis.”
