Celebration Of Service Awards, June 11

The annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, produced by the NAB Leadership Foundation, will be held Tuesday, June 11 at the Anthem in Washington, D.C. The gala will honor radio and television broadcasters from across the country for exceptional community service.

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter John Legend will receive NABLF’s highest honor: the Service to America Leadership Award. LG Electronics USA will receive the Corporate Leadership Award. Explore all of the 2019 award recipients here.

Entertainment Tonight‘s Emmy Award-winning correspondent, fill-in host, and weekend co-host Nischelle Turner will serve as emcee. Also a CNN contributor, Turner is featured in entertainment segments on CNN Newsroom, New Day, CNN Tonight, and more.

There will also be a performance by Duke Ellington students as a tribute to John Legend.

Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR), Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), and FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly, among other officials, will be in attendance and serve as award presenters.
