The MMTC’s 10th Annual Broadband and Social Justice Summit will feature MMTC leadership engaging in a series of fireside chats with current FCC Commissioners, Wednesday, March 6, 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Confirmed Commissioners include: Hon. Michael O’Rielly, Jessica Rosenworcel, and newly confirmed Commissioner Geoffrey Starks. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and Commissioner Brendan Carr have also been invited.

During the breakfast, commissioners will discuss: the state of broadband, privacy, telehealth, media ownership, spectrum auctions, infrastructure (5G,10G, small cells deployment, and the digital divide), the fate of the Lifeline program for low-income telecommunications access, the homework gap, and more. What’s on the FCC’s main agenda, and how does diversity fit into those priorities?
