MannGroup, VoiceByte Form Partnership

Radio syndicator MannGroup Radio and app company VoiceByte have joined forces to bring VoiceByte to radio in North America. Already in use on AT40 with Ryan Seacrest and KIIS-FM in Los Angeles as well as other US markets, and throughout the Asia Pacific, VoiceByte provides a microphone for listeners to engage with a show and a dashboard for programmers to access the listener content.

VoiceByte is a gateway for voice audio from listeners to a station’s VoiceByte Dashboard that harvests “bytes,” and allows show producers/hosts a way to control what they air by either singling out or congregating listener voice interaction.

VoiceByte also delivers the station data about their audience, such as where they are, how they’re feeling and other data points, creating real-time lifestyle database opportunities for stations. The callers are prompted to record content via three ways, the free VoiceByte mobile app, and two embeddable recorders that can be attached to a Twitter or Facebook post or embedded on a stations’ website. The audience can speak without the trouble of waiting on hold or sending a blind email.

Ed Mann of MannGroup says, “Whenever I can find a way for radio to grab listeners’ attention, give them an easy way to speak and be heard, and to keep them there longer, which is exactly what VoiceByte does, I run to that light. And the stations receive SO much in the bargain. Michael and his team have put together the best listener engagement tool I’ve EVER seen for radio, which needs as much listener engagement, and lifestyle data as possible. We all want to keep our audience with us, and VoiceByte has shown us time and again that they can perform that duty. ”
