Dennis Green Leaving Westwood One

COO Charles Steinhauer announced to the Westwood One team on Thursday that SVP for Affiliate Sales Dennis Green is leaving Westwood One to accept a new opportunity. That closes out a 22-year run for Green at the network. An announcement is coming next week regarding where Green is heading.

Green thanked the Westwood One family for his “22-year ride that was everything you could want in a media career. Serving radio stations around the country, and the world, with the best in programming and services was an honor and privilege that I’ll never forget. As I embark on my next challenge, I’m proud to be part of the legacy that Westwood enjoys in the industry, and will continue to enjoy for years to come.”

  1. One of the radio industry’s classiest acts.
He loves radio and has been a long time booster of the National Radio Hall of Fame.

  2. Dennis Green has been a close friend for many years in my various roles in media. He is smart honest and gets what makes great radio. Per Walters comment above re sharing food, I do have to say that I don’t recall Dennis ever picking up a tab. 😎🦆🤗

  3. Major loss. Dennis is a spectacular executive and a good man. He has taken STERLING ON SUNDAY to “hit” level of over 50 stations in a few months. Built a great team and reputation and shares food with me at Ben’s.
    Thank you Dennis.
