Connie Lawn Passes

Ms. Lawn died Monday morning at her home in Fallas Church, VA, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was 73. Lawn was a White House correspondent at the USA Radio Network in the 1990s, and more recently covered the White House for SRN News on weekends and when White House correspondent Greg Clugston was on assignment or traveling with the President. She also reported independently for radio networks on New Zealand, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. At the time of her passing, she held the title as longest-credentialed member of the White House press corps, having served for 50 years.
