Newsradio KKOB’s hot air balloon flew high Monday at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico. The Fiesta was started in 1972 by KKOB to celebrate the station’s 50th anniversary. It is now in its 46th year and attracts over one million people from all over the world to Albuquerque each year. It is the largest ballooning event in the world.
