Nobody should be alone at Christmas time, and with “Christmas Across the Lands,” they don’t have to. The annual, 12-hour special broadcast is the brainchild of the Beasley Media Group, who know a thing or two about family. The program airs mainly on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in markets around the globe. Locally, it will be broadcast on Sunny 106 WJPT-FM beginning December 17, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Christmas Eve Morning at 9 a.m. It will then run for 36 hours during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It will be hosted by Randy Sherwyn, PD for the two local stations. The show has its origins as a tribute to troops stationed overseas, and as a holiday companion for all.
