It continues to be a great week for Beasley Media. First the close of the Greater Media deal, then an earnings release with a nice bump in revenue. The $1.5 million increase in top-line revenue for the third quarter was attributed to great quarters turned in by the company’s Tampa, Charlotte, and Fayetteville markets. Both Tampa and Charlotte were markets Beasley picked up from CBS Radio back in 2014.

Total revenue for the company in the quarter was $27.7 million. Automotive, retail, and political were the strongest categories. Beasley took in $400,000 in political revenue in Q3 and has booked $2.2 million total to date. The Beasley clusters generated an approximate 7.8% increase in net revenue, compared with an increase of 2.6% in the overall markets.
