FORECAST 2017: Podcasting For Profit

0

Across all formats and demographics, there are now two types of listeners: those who routinely access podcasts, and those who soon will. The podcast has arrived. Fifty-seven million consumers are tuning in monthly. The investigative series Serial alone generated over 97 million downloads. Advertisers are waking up to the format’s potential, investing an estimated $100 million in the currently limited field.

Yet commercial radio, historically the most timely, prolific, and content-driven media, generates less than one percent of all podcast consumption.

What is holding you back?  At Forecast 2017, our panel of experts will break down the myths, misconceptions, and roadblocks that keep you from the revenue-generating podcasts that can impact your digital bottom line.

Learn how local radio can leverage its current personalities and programming into consistent, buzz-worthy content that will attract listeners and advertisers, how to measure your successes, and how podcasts can support existing over-the-air programming.
