The Chicagoland Radio and Media Blog has the details about Johnson departing as PD of the Hubbard station where he’s only held the job for about 18 months. Johnson says he will remain the station’s Program Director for a short while longer, while the station searches for his replacement and he seeks opportunities elsewhere. Johnson replaced Patty Martin, the only other Program Director the classic rock station has ever had.
