McGee To Spearhead Development At WWOZ

WWOZ/New Orleans has hired Marcel McGee to lead the station’s development efforts. He starts August 1. McGee has two decades of experience in donor relations and fundraising with a variety of institutions, including Loyola University New Orleans, Dillard University, the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations, American Red Cross-Southeast Louisiana Chapter, The Audubon Nature Institute, and CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation in Maryland. McGee is a native New Orleanian who grew up in the Ninth Ward.
