You know Kix Brooks. He’s half of Brooks and Dunn, country music superstars. And Mr. Kix wants to celebrate the service of all U.S. military with his annual two-hour Veterans Day music special, A Salute to our Military Veterans with Kix Brooks. The popular award-winning host of Westwood One’s American Country Countdown, will play songs that capture America’s patriotic spirit, including Brooks & Dunn’s staple hit “Only in America,” along with Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” and “American Soldier.”
“It has always been close to my heart to make sure to celebrate the servicemen and women who do so much for this country,” said Brooks. “I couldn’t be more proud to work alongside Westwood One and give them the recognition they deserve and show our gratitude.”
