McInnes Joins KPRI
KPRI in Pala, CA announced that Jim McInnes is joining the Rez Radio volunteer family. McInnes will host his Saturday night show, Vinyl Resting Place. McInnes first hit the radio airwaves 47 years ago in San Diego on KPRI. He worked at KGB-FM for 28 years.
Saga Ashville Host Battling Cancer
WISE-AM Ashville, NC Sports Talker Pat Ryan was first diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in 2018. After 6 months of chemo he moved to immunotherapy. Earlier this month, as ABC-TV points out in this story, the cancer returned to where more chemo was needed.

Reiter Back With CBS Radio
Westwood One and Entercom announced Bill Reiter will return to CBS Sports Radio on Monday. He'll host “Reiter Than You” weekdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET. Reiter was with CBS Sports Radio up until 2019 hosting evenings.

Entercom SVP/ Head of Corporate Communications & PR Esther-Mireya Tejeda is stepping down from her position and transitioning out of the company over the next few weeks. She said it was a natural time to pursue a new and different challenge. No replacement was named.

Scott Chase is Saga's new Director of Group Programming. Chase joined the Company in 2004 and has served as Operations Manager for the Company’s stations in Clarksville, TN. He's also worked in Tampa, Nashville and West Palm Beach.
New SVP Engineering, Townsquare
Martin Stabbert has been promoted to SVP/Engineering for Townsquare Media. Stabbert has been acting as the interim in the position since March.
WATV’s Curtis Bell Passes
Bell, who had cerebral palsy, died Tuesday morning at the age of 58. He played blues music every Saturday for WATV-FM in Birmingham and had a 40-year successful career in radio. He was inducted into the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame in 2018.
