Former KCBS Host Barbara Taylor Dies
The longtime KCBS City Hall bureau chief died Monday from complications she suffered following a car crash last year. Taylor began her career in San Diego before moving to San Francisco where she was hired as an editor at KCBS Radio. Taylor was 73.

Worley Leaves Entercom Miami
RAMP is reporting that Keriann Worley has resigned from her position as Market Manager for Entercom’s South Florida cluster. Worley was promoted from D.O.S. to Market Manager in 2017 after the CBS merger. Orlando Market Manager Claudia Menegus fills in until a new manager is hired.
Ron Britain Dies Days After His Wife
The 50-year broadcaster spent most of career in Chicago. In all, Britain worked in 11 cities and 21 different radio stations. Robert Feder is reporting the 86-year old was inconsolable after losing his wife of 62 years, on October 19, and took his own life. Art Vuolo has a video tribute HERE.
Cody Alan Inks Publishing Deal
Harper Horizon has secured the US rights to publish and distribute a memoir on the art of listening, by radio personality Cody Alan. The book will chronicle Alan’s music industry adventures, and life-altering self-discoveries.
