Sun Broadcast Group has hired Taylor Wood, as Director of Inventory Sales. Wood comes over from Group M where he was Senior Partner/Associate Director of National Radio Investment.
Report: PD Out at WCCO
The Star-Tribune is reporting that John Hanson has been let go by Entercom. Hanson stepped into the PD role at WCCO-AM in late 2018. He previously held the same role at Sports Radio KCSP-AM and 1660 The Score KWOD-AM in Kansas City.
Former Baton Rouge Host Launches YouTube Show
Jordy Culotta announced his new show, which starts today, in a Facebook video. Curlotta, formerly of ESPN in Baton Rouge, will host the show with producer Rivers Hughey. His YouTube channel as 1,900 subscribers.

Ed Ripley; manager, programmer and air-talent on numerous radio stations has died. His radio career spanned more than 20 years, retiring from the business in 1985.

Host Jim Bouma Passes
Crista Media announced Wednesday that Jim Bouma, a 40-year veteran of Bellingham-based (KWPZ) PRAISE 106.5, died suddenly Tuesday. Bouma had most recently been serving as both Operations Manager and Morning Show co-host. The cause of death was not provided by the company.

Richards Leaving Emmis
As of March 1st Taja Graham (pictured) will take over as Market President for Emmis in Indianapolis following the announcement that Bob Richards will be leaving to pursue other interests. Richards has been with Emmis for 11 years. Graham is currently Vice President of Sales.
