McVay, Three Others Going Into West Virginia Hall
Four broadcasters, including Mike McVay, will be inducted into the West Virginia Broadcasting Hall of Fame on October 16 at the Museum of Radio and Technology in Huntington, West Virginia. The ceremony will be broadcast live at on many radio stations across the state.
Another Host Dies From COVID
65-year old WNDB in Daytona Beach host Marc Bernier died Saturday night from COVID-related complications. Southern Stone Communications says Bernier worked for WNDB for over 30 years and had a 46 year career as a broadcast journalist. The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that Bernier was against vaccines.
Changes At KMVP Phoenix
Bickley and Marotta will move from middays to mornings on 98.7 FM Arizona's Sports Station. The program will replace the long running Doug and Wolf Show.

Amanda Daughtry is the new co-host of the Q Morning Crew, working alongside veteran morning host Mike Wheless. Daughtry is a singer-songwriter from Nashville.
Big Day For Big Boy
The Hollywood Chamber will honor radio personality Kurt “Big Boy” Alexander with the 2,701st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Big Boy gets his star Wednesday, September 8th at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Amoeba Music.
