Melissa “Mo” Wagner and Greg “StyckMan” Owens are the recipients of a 2021 CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year in the medium market category. It’s their 2nd win as a team.

Carlota (Gonzalez) is the new midday host for 98 Rock (KRXQ-FM), Sacramento. She joins Audacy after leaving KOMP-FM in Las Vegas last year after a 22 year stay.

After nine years at the helm of Ramsey Network, Brian Mayfield has accepted a new role with the company. He's now the to EVP of Strategic Alliances where he will oversee advertiser and endorsed local provider relationships. Blake Thompson (pictured) steps into the role as the network’s EVP.

Alpha Media has hired Zoe Burdine-Fly as Regional President. She will oversee the operations for 13 Alpha Media markets, including Amarillo, Bakersfield, Lincoln and Topeka. Burdine-Fly joins Alpha from Townsquare and replaces George Pelletier who became President and CEO of West Virginia Radio Corporation.

Longtime WGN news reporter Bob Kessler will be anchoring the midday news Tuesdays-Fridays. Kessler joined WGN Radio in 1994.

Townsquare Media Victoria, TX has named Jim Kovacik Director of Content of the Company’s Victoria stations. He replaces Wes Adams who has moved to the same position at the company's Grand Junction, CO stations.

Jade Springart, Program Director at Beasley Detroit's WRIF-FM, is the recipient of the One to Watch award. The Museum of Broadcast Communications Radio Hall of Fame created the award in 2018 to honor Hall of Famer Art Laboe.

The Milwaukee Bucks have tapped Ben Brust to be the analyst for home games on WTMJ and statewide on Bucks Radio Network. Brush will join new play-by-play announcer Dave Koehn.

Katz Media Group has promoted Scott Porretti to President of Katz Digital Audio. Porretti will continue to oversee all Katz Digital Audio offerings, manage relationships with Katz partners, and be responsible to grow podcasting and programmatic digital audio on behalf of Katz' partners.
