Mike Kasper has been named Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host for BIG 104.7 (WPGB-FM). He also takes over afternoons at the iHeart Country station October 11.

Intrepid Broadcasting of New York has promoted Timothy Sweeney from General Manager of WBLH-FM in Watertown, NY to Vice-President. Sweeney will continue to manage all daily operations in the company's New York markets. 

Popular Chicago morning show host Eric Ferguson is off the air after a third allegation of inappropriate behavior was reported. Hubbard Market Manager Jeff England has taken the host off the air through October and alerted staff to brace for more press stories about Ferguson.

Cumulus announced late Tuesday that Conrad Trautmann has been promoted from SVP of Technology and Operations to Chief Technology Officer. A member of Cumulus’ executive leadership team, Trautmann reports directly to CEO Mary Berner.

Beasley Media Group announced that WYUU-FM Maxima's morning personalities Nandy Davila and Cristy Balderrama have signed a new multiyear deal to continue hosting the “Nandy & Cristy” show. They've been hosting mornings on the station since 2018.

Intrepid Companies has closed on the purchase of KDVB-FM in Effingham, Kansas, from Cumulus. The price was $300,000 with a CP to modify. Intrepid is headed by Don Sherman, who plans to relocate the tower closer to Topeka, and upgrade to a Class C2. Eddie Esserman of Media Services Group’s represented Cumulus in the transaction.

After 30 years at Orlando’s WTLN (AM 990 – FM 101.5 The WORD), Allan Dempsey is retiring. Dempsey has been broadcasting for over 50 years.

Univision’s TUDN and Major League Baseball have signed a multi-year agreement naming TUDN Radio the official Spanish-language radio partner of MLB in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The deal provides exclusive coverage on TUDN Radio of select games during the postseason and the entire World Series.

La Pantera 96.1 (The Panther) is on the air, serving Hilton Head, SC. Dick Broadcasting flipped the oldies station, WHHW-FM to the Spanish language format.
