Holland Out in St. Louis
Longtime St. Louis host Tammie Holland is gone from KMJM-FM. Holland and iHeartMedia parted ways last week, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Her last day on the air was Thursday July 6 and her final words on the air were "Stick a fork in me, I'm done." She hosted the 9 a.m. -2 p.m. shift on the Hip Hop station. Houston Radio Host Matt Patrick Passes
Chron.com reports that the popular conservative host passed away Sunday, July 9, after announcing on air the previous Wednesday that he would no longer have treatment for the aggressive cancer he’d been fighting for two years. He was 58.
Confer Grooming Radio’s Next Generation
The fourth annual Confer Radio Talent Institute opens today at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. It runs for 10 days. Students with a desire and drive to be in radio were accepted from nine different universities.
