That's what a federal jury decided on Monday in the Taylor Swift vs. David Mueller case. The six women and two men decided that former KYGO morning man David Mueller did exactly what Swift accused him of at a 2013 pre-concert meet and greet. She was awarded a symbolic $1 in damages. The jury also found that neither Swift’s mother nor her radio promotions manager Frank Bell caused Mueller to be fired by KYGO.

Omny Studio has signed an agreement with CBS Radio giving CBS a license to the Omny Studio platform. CBS Radio will now be able to use Omny Studio’s podcast hosting, analytics and social sharing tools. CBS Radio has over 350 podcasts.

GEICO Takes The Top Spot

For two weeks now, The Home Depot has really backed off on the number of commercials its been running on radio stations all over the country. With only 24,336 spots running the big box home improvement store comes in at number five on the Media Monitors weekly chart. GEICO took the top spot with 42,198 spots. McDonald's was second (27,950) followed by JC Penney (27,164) and AutoZone (27,153).

Pandora Gets a New CEO

Pandora has hired Roger Lynch as its new CEO replacing former CEO and founder Tim Westergren who resigned at the end of June. Lynch was the founding CEO of Sling TV. Naveen Chopra, who has served as Pandora’s interim CEO since June 2017, will continue in his role as CFO.

Sabo's show is a mix of lifestyle, entertainment, and social conversation, according to the network.

Radio One and Reach Media add Christopher Borelli to its national sales team as the Manager of New Business Development. Borelli joins Radio One and Reach from Emmis where he was a GSM. Prior to Emmis ,Borelli was the Automotive Manager and Total Traffic and Weather Manager for iHeartMedia in New York.

Radio One in Washington DC has hired Dominique Da Diva to host middays on WKYS-FM. Da Diva began her radio career in her hometown of Richmond, as an intern with WBTJ-106.5 The BEAT. In 2016, Da Diva moved to Los Angeles to host Diva Unfiltered on Dash Radio and explore the digital tech world with the launch of her very own App, Da Daily Dirt.
