The FCC is reporting the number of radio stations off the air due to Hurricane Irma to be in excess of two dozen. Meanwhile, the Commission has expanded its Disaster Information Reporting System to include 18 counties in Georgia and three in Alabama, in addition Florida.

It was a corporate decision to let the afternoon co-host go, according to Cincinnati.com. The former Major League Baseball player (pictured left) was with the station for ten years. He co-hosted afternoons with Eddie Fingers (right). Last Thursday's show was the last one Jones co-hosted with Fingers.
