Brooke Morrison has been named Afternoon Personality for Channel 96.1, “#1 For All The Hits In Charlotte,” effective March 26, and broadcasting weekdays 2 to 7 p.m. Morrison will play a variety of Top 40 music from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, and Bruno Mars. She will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the station’s social media platforms, and will report to A.J., Program Director for Channel 96.1.

I look forward to her joining the team as we build the next chapter of Channel 96.1.”
Morrison joins Charlotte from iHeartMedia Los Angeles, where she most recently served as the producer for Nina Chantele on Real 92.3. She also hosted Overnights and Weekends for iHeartMedia Riverside’s 99.1 KGGI, and Afternoons on Z107.7 for iHeartMedia St. Louis.
