Nate Bell has been named Program Director of 97.9 WJLB, “Detroit’s Hip-Hop & R&B,” and Mix 92.3, “Detroit’s R&B and Throwbacks.” As PD, Bell will be responsible for day-to-day programming oversight of 97.9 WJLB and Mix 92.3. He will report to Tony Travatto, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Detroit. Bell most recently served as Operations Manager and Program Director for WGPR-FM, WDMK-FM and WPZR-FM in Detroit. He has also held programming roles in cities including New York, New Orleans, and Memphis as well as with iHeartMedia in Miami.
