Country star Jason Aldean was onstage in Las Vegas when the bullets started raining down on the audience. On Tuesday Aldean posted a message on Facebook announcing he would be canceling four concerts planned for this weekend in California as a result of what happened.

Bryce Burtner is a host on BiCoastal Media's Country station (Q103) in Medford, OR. He was in the line of fire in Las Vegas when Stephen Paddock started shooting toward the Route 91 Harvest Festival from a hotel across the street. Burtner tells ABC 12 in Portland that the worst part of this whole deal was seeing bodies on the ground.

Herriott Leaves Chicago For Milwaukee

Bill Herriott is the new D.O.S. and National Sales Manager for WTMJ Radio and 94.5 KTI Country in Milwaukee. In addition to leading that sales effort, Herriott will focus on selling ads for the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers networks. Most recently, Herriott was the GSM for WLS Radio in Chicago.

Bones Raises $50K For Vegas Victims Fund

On Tuesday, iHeartMedia’s Bobby Bones featured a full-program dedicated to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting with live, in-studio performances from several Country music artists. The theme was “Love > Hate.” Bones announced that all #PimpinJoy and limited-edition “Love > Hate” apparel will benefit the Las Vegas Victims Fund. So far, $50,000 has been raised.
