College basketball referee John Higgins has filed a federal lawsuit against Kentucky Sports Radio accusing KSR of creating conditions that led to the harassment of his family after a game he called between Kentucky and North Carolina.

Nothing excites a local community more than a great high school football rivalry and CBS' WIP is taking full advantage of that. SportsRadio 94WIP is giving seven local high school matchups the chance to have their Thanksgiving Day football game broadcast live on WIP.

Woof Boom Radio is purchasing WKHL-FM (106.7) in West Lafayette, Indiana. With this purchase Woof Boom will now own stations in three markets in Indiana and Ohio. The station will be run by Woof Boom Radio Lafayette Managing Partner, Jim Stone.

Two of talk radio's longest-running and most successful hosts got together last week when Rush Limbaugh appeared on Fox News for a two-part interview with Sean Hannity. Premiere says Rush helped Hannity draw impressive ratings for his show and even mentioned the ratings bump he caused for Hannity on his show Monday afternoon. Both hosts are syndicated by Premiere.

Robby Bridges has signed a contract extension as Director of FM Programming, of Cumulus’ Detroit cluster, which includes Hot AC WDVD, Country WDRQ, and Classic Country WDRQ-HD2. Bridges is also on Cumulus’ Hot AC and Country format SWAT teams, and anchors PM drive on WDVD.
