iHeartMedia Albany’s Fox Sports 980, Albany’s Sports Radio, announced today the continuation of their broadcast agreement with the Boston Red Sox through the 2020 season. FOX Sports 980 has been the Capital Region’s official Red Sox affiliate since 2012.
The station will carry all regular season games through the 2020 Major League Baseball season. For the first time, the broadcast will feature play-by-play from Manager Alex Cora, the former Houston Astros bench coach and one-time Red Sox infielder.
