Chicago Radio Stations Are At It Again
They are getting together to highlight the success a local advertiser has been having using radio. Over 40 stations in Chicago will simultaneously air a 60-second interview with Roy Spencer, President and owner of Perma-Seal Basement Systems discussing how radio is a primary advertising avenue for reaching customers.
Berner To Keynote CRS
Cumulus CEO Mary Berner will be part of a keynote conversation at the Country Radio Seminar next month in Nashville. Emmis Communications’ New York Market Manager Charlie Morgan will conduct the interview which is called “Radio Today with Cumulus Media’s CEO Mary Berner.” The interview will be Tuesday, February 6 from 3:30 to 4:20 at The Omni Hotel in Nashville.

Report: Radio Revenue Will Be Flat In 2018
A new report from Moffett Nathanson Research states that in 2018 radio revenue will be flat, compared to being down 1% in 2017. Overall, according to the report, total U.S. advertising revenue will increase 6.7% with the biggest bulk of those gains coming from digital (up 17%).
