Westwood One stations NASH FM 103.3 (WKDF) and 95.5 NASH ICON (WSM-FM), took over The Listening Room in downtown Nashville as Chuck Wicks & His Super Famous Friends raised over $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The folks at WMAS/Springfield, MA (94.7 WMAS) raised a whopping $226,878 with their Baystate Children's Hospital Radiothon to benefit Baystate Children's Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Cumulus New Orleans host Greg Vigne, known as Papa Smurf on the air, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Louisiana Broadcasters Association. Vigne has been a voice New Orleans residents have heard for 40 years. He's currently hosting afternoons on KMEZ-FM

The event, which was set for June in Minneapolis, has been postponed for the same reason many other events are being canceled, postponed, or delayed. Paid registrations will be carried over to the new date, which organizers will announce as soon as possible.

The NAB is distributing new public service announcements to radio and TV stations to educate Americans on how to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The PSA effort is part of a Coronavirus Response Toolkit.
