Entercom has promoted Danny Freisinger to Brand Manager of ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM) in Sacramento. Freisinger has spent his entire 13-year sports media career in Northern California. He’ll continue in his role as Assistant Brand Manager for sister station 95.7 The Game (KGMZ-FM) in San Francisco.
Freisinger joined Entercom in 2015 as a producer for 95.7 The Game before rising to Assistant Brand Manager in 2016. Prior to joining Entercom, he served in producer roles for both Cumulus and NBC Sports.
“For the last four years, Danny has consistently given 95.7 The Game listeners a reliable home for premier coverage of their favorite teams and we’re excited to expand his role with ESPN 1320,” said Stacey Kauffman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Sacramento. “With a fair amount of Bay Area fans rooted in Sacramento, Danny will lead the way in reshaping how we cover sports in Northern California and better serve fans.”
