TalkRadio 1510 WLAC/Nashville has announced the return of award-winning talk radio host Steve Gill as host of the Tennessee Star Gill Report, which broadcasts weekday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Entercom stations have received six South Carolina Broadcasters Association State Television and Radio Awards Awards. The awards were presented at the SCBA’s STAR Awards Ceremony at the Columbia Conference Center in Columbia, SC.

In Las Vegas, Paul Ihander has been given the role of Program Director for News and Talk Radio 840 AM (KXNT-AM) and Sports Radio 1140 AM (KXST-AM), effective September 4. Prior to joining Entercom, Ihander held the role of APD and News Director for Bonneville Media in Phoenix.

After 12 years with 97.1 The Fan in Columbus Ohio, Jay Taylor is leaving the station. Taylor tells Radio Ink he's leaving at the end of his current agreement and wishes nothing but the best for the staff at The Fan.

Entercom has hired Alex Silverman as PD for KYW Newsradio (KYW-AM) in Philadelphia. Silverman had been APD for News and Programming at WCBS Newsradio 880 (WCBS-AM) in New York, also owned by Entercom.

Ottawa’s JUMP! 106.9 (CKQB-FM) announced, Thursday, their new morning show Brooke & Jubal In The Morning, hosted by award-winning radio hosts Brooke Fox and Jubal Flagg. On September 4, the show will hit the JUMP! 106.9 airwaves, bringing one of North America’s top syndicated morning shows to the Ottawa market.
