CBS Sports Radio and Westwood One today are joining forces to launch a new weekday podcast featuring Jim Rome. It will be hosted on the Play.It network. The Daily Jungle Podcast will be a round-up of the best of The Jim Rome Show from that particular day.
It's the fourth annual We Can Survive concert in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month for CBS Radio. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The panel is titled “Perception Vs. Reality,” and addresses how radio can get more respect and revenue from advertisers.

The Columbia, SC, station can now add ESPN Radio to a new FM signal on 94.9FM. The move now brings ESPN Radio to the FM band in addition to the current signal on 1230AM WOIC. Alpha Media also announced Friday that it’s bolstering its college sports coverage with the addition of SEC analyst Paul Finebaum.
