DeDe Announces Scholarship Winners
The $2,500 scholarships are part of DeDe's Achieve the Dream scholarship program. The goal of the program is to assist individuals by offering scholarships to a Historically Black College University. The money comes from the syndicated host's foundation.
Salem Q4 Down Only 4%
Another sign radio's revenue tide is turning positive. Salem Media reported Q4 same station broadcast revenue decreased only 4% to $47.7 million from $49.8 million in Q4 of 2019. Broadcast revenue increased 5.9% compared to the third quarter of 2020.

Alpha Media San Jose celebrated the 25th anniversary of Jona Denz-Hamilton March 4th. Prior to joining KBAY in 1996, Jona was an on air talent at multiple stations in Northern California including San Jose and Sacramento.
Pierre Robert Staying With WMMR
Philadelphia radio icon, Pierre Robert, has signed a multiyear extension with Beasley Media Group's WMMR-FM. The extension means Robert will celebrate 40 straight years with the station this November.

Sports Radio 950 KJR will be the flagship radio home of the NHL’s newest franchise. The multi-year agreement starts with the inaugural 2021-2022 season.
Carton & Roberts To Simulcast on TV
And that will heat up the competition with ESPN New York's Michael Kay show, which is also seen on The YES Network. The WFAN afternoon show will begin simulcasting on SNY from 4PM-6PM starting in May. The show airs on WFAN in New York from 2PM-7PM.
