On-air personalities spoke about where they were when the attacks took place. Some broadcasters were prepared for any type of crisis, but most weren’t prepared for an attack on US soil.

On Friday, Red Apple Group CEO John Catsimatidis unveiled a new state-of-the-art studio for WABC in New York City. The new studio was unveiled in honor of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks 20 years ago.

Thanks to Candy Cintron, Brand Manager for Audacy in Washington, for sharing the news that in just 13 hours, WLZL-FM raised $291,247.00 to benefit St Jude hospital. This makes the total raised by El Zol over 1.9 million dollars to help cure Childhood Cancer.

Wendy Bell has 9 lives on the radio. Her latest hosting position is with WRTA-FM in Altoona. The Conservative talker will host the 9A to Noon slot. The station is owned by Lightner Communications. Bell also worked at KDKA and WJAS in Pittsburgh.

WDAY AM 970/FM 93.1 in Fargo, ND kicks off 'Bonnie & Friends' September 16. Bonnie Amistadi and talk radio veteran Steve Hallstrom will co-host the program.
