The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters and AARP are teaming up for a COVID-19 awareness campaign. With reports that African American communities are being severely impacted by the pandemic, NABOB member stations will air AARP-COVID-19 messages.

The Austin Radio Network is partnering with the Central Texas Food Bank to raise money for emergency food boxes. The "Buy a Box" campaign, that started April 13 includes a special two-hour radiothon April 15 on the network stations.

MediaCo New York Radio, which owns HOT97 and WBLS, has named Ron deCastro market president. He'll oversee HOT97 and WBLS. deCastro moves to New York from New Jersey where he was president and chief revenue officer at Townsquare's New Jersey 101.5.

Following the departure of Ron deCastro, Townsquare announced that Brian Lang, Regional Market President/Chief Revenue Officer for Townsquare in Portland, ME, Portsmouth, NH, and Augusta ME, has been named Market President/CRO for New Jersey 101.5.
