B100 Raises $300K For St. Jude

B100 (WBYT-FM) St. Jude Radiothon raised $321,425. The Elkhart, Indiana station's footprint covers Indiana and Michigan. This year's total was a record for the radiothon that has raised more than $6.3 million over the years.

NVPR Has a New President

Nevada Public Radio has hired Mark Vogelzang as its new President and CEO. Vogelzang recently served as Interim General Manager and CEO of Blue Ridge Public Radio based in Asheville, and had a decade-long tenure as President and CEO of the state-wide Maine Public TV & Radio, the PBS and NPR member network.

Kara Stockton died in her sleep last Thursday, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She worked at news/talk station 106.7 with Shannon Burke from 2016 to 2019.
