KTIS-FM in Minneapolis and Life 97.9 in Fargo simultaneously aired a two-day event recently and were able to find over 400 new Child Champions (sponsors) for children living in extreme poverty, through the ministry OneChild.

CT Insider is reporting that Bob Heussler has stepped down as a full-time update anchor at WFAN in New York. The 66-year old who's been providing listeners with sports updates for 30 years will continue on a part-time basis.

Larry Young morning host of WOLB 1010 AM in Baltimore is recovering from having a leg amputated below the knee a month ago. The host of "The Larry Young Morning Show" for the past 25 years was rushed to the hospital in April after suffering a dangerous infection in his foot.
