WFRE-FM in Frederick, MD recently held its Free Country Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon and raised an impressive $481,244 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Saga Hauls in Big Money For Kids
Saga’s Jonesboro, Arkansas Radio Group partnered with Gray TV's KAIT-TV to raise $339,452 for the Make A Wish Foundation Friday. It was the group’s 24th annual Have A Heart Wishathon.

Lehigh Valley Public Radio Honored
WDIY 88.1 FM, Lehigh Valley Public Radio, has captured five Excellence in Broadcasting Awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters. WDIY’s five awards was the highest total for a single radio station in the state, matched only by KYW in Philadelphia with five awards.
