IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Judge Makes Ruling in GMR/RMLC Case

And both sides are claiming a win after the ruling. Federal Judge Terry Hatter has denied the RMLC's attempt to dismiss its case against GMR, which GMR says is a major blow to radio. But the RMLC says the big news here is that the court agreed that if RMLC can prove the facts alleged then GMR is an illegal cartel.

The iHeart CEO was a keynoter at Podcast Movement's Evolutions Thursday. Pittman took some heat from the podcast community last September when he said podcasting was radio's birthright. Last night he made it clear how much he believed in podcasting and told the crowd podcasting is going to be a lot bigger than anyone thinks.
