WWZY Radiothon Raises $97,000
Classic rock station WWZY (107.1 FM, The Boss) in Long Branch, New Jersey raised more than $97,000 during the 5th Annual Mistletoe Rock Radiothon in conjunction with Ashley Homestore and Hutchins HVAC. The radiothon took place December 14 at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como.

Colorado Public Radio says it will celebrate 50 years on air with a celebration called the "50-ish Anniversary." The public radio network said its first station, KCFR (90.1 FM) in Denver, was granted its first license in 1970; celebrations were postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic.

KRST Raises Over $200,000 for St. Jude Hospital
Cumulus country station KRST (92.3 FM) in Albuquerque raised over $200,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital during a recent radiothon. The two-day event started Thursday, December 8 and saw station staffers and volunteers raise funds for St. Jude.
