FCC audit season is officially underway. The Enforcement Bureau has issued the first Equal Employment Opportunity audit letters for 2023. Each year, about five percent of all radio stations are randomly chosen for EEO audits. Here's what all selected stations need to do.
Fred Expands From Chicago To Syndication
Premiere Networks has added iHeartMedia’s The Fred Show to its nationally-syndicated radio lineup. The show, originating from 103.5 Kiss FM (WKSC) in Chicago, will be available to CHR stations as a five-hour morning show. Fred has been at Kiss since 2011.

Big Horn Rebrand In The Wyoming Basin
Legend Communications’ Big Horn Radio Network announced a rebrand on Monday. The Wyoming-based group is now called Big Horn Basin Media, prompted by an expansion into digital advertising. The rebrand also extends to Big Horn's KZMQ, KCGL, KTAG, and KCWB.
Media Monitors: 16% Spot Increase Drives Top 5
According to Media Monitors' data of top radio advertisers for the week ending April 23, the top five advertisers saw some changes as a surge of ad plays continues to make up for a slow first quarter. Upside maintained its top position for the fifth consecutive week, with 65,436 spot plays.
