Ted Williams Is Back On The Air

1
You may remember Williams, who became a national star when a video of a homeless Williams went viral. It showed Williams, who has a great radio voice, panhandling in Ohio. His fame and a $400 book deal didn't help him clean up his struggle with drugs and alcohol and he was back out on the street. WVKO in Columbus has put Williams back on the air.

The Other Kind Of Excellence

Borrell projects that in 2016 local businesses will spend nearly $66 Billion on some form of digital advertising.

Which Markets Will See The Most Digital Ad Revenue?

And this revenue will come from Run of Site Display, Targeted Display, Email, Paid Search and Online Audio according to Borrell. New York City will scoop up $3.5 Billion of the $65 Billion Borrell projects will come from 53 markets the company surveyed in its latest report.

The FCC is seeking input on how to improve the Wireless Emergency Alert service, which notifies Americans, via text message, during times of emergency. The NAB says many times the alert tells residents to get in their car and turn on their radios for more information. The two organizations argue that one way to improve upon emergency notification is to have all FM Chips in cell phones activated.
