This one comes from Montana Republican Steve Daines and 70 other Senators. It was sent to the Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget. And, like the other letters we've been reporting on, it points out how devastated local media is due to the coronavirus and asks the government to trickle down additional money to help them survive. We should get a very real look at how bad the coronavirus has impacted radio's largest company at the end of the day on Thursday, May 7 when iHeart reports earnings. The Q1 report will include January, February and March.

Rockcastle Media Networks is joining the Feeding America Emergency Radiothon being held across the country on April 30th. The network is donating all of its barter inventory to the radiothon on the day of the event plus additional inventory in the days leading up to the event.

The flip takes place in West Palm on 93.3. The former format was Country Wave 93.3, the new format is Throwback 93.3 FM. The music comes fro the 80's, 90's and 2000's 

Uno Radio Group has 14 stations in Puerto Rico. The agreement means that the Uno stations will share iHeart’s promotions and contests for events such as the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina in Miami and the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The 14 Uno stations will also be available on iHeartradio.

Planning for the 2021 Country Radio Seminar is underway. The Country Radio Broadcasters announced the individuals who will serve on the CRS Agenda Committee. Country Radio Seminar 2021 will be held Feb. 17-19 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

Democratic leaders of color have written a letter urging Senate and House leaders to include federal funding for local and ethnic media outlets in a future stimulus package. 

The Hubbard country station was named station of the year by the Missouri Broadcasters Association Wednesday. The runner up was Zimmer Radio Group's KCLR-FM in Columbia.

Pacific Media Group will be part of a virtual concert called Hale to Hale this Monday to honor health care workers. On-air personalities from Pacific and Hawaii News Now will host the program.
