The sports network, formerly known as SB Nation, which launched this week, includes Wake Up Call with Tony Desiere and Ronn Culver, Scott Ferrall, Tony Bruno, Jake Asman, Scott Wetzel, Matt Perrault, Anthony Pepe, Gabe Morency and Eytan Shander. 

Lotus Broadcasting and the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders have signed a deal to have KOMP 92.3 The Rock Station serve as the Raiders flagship station in Vegas. Lotus also announced the launch of "Raider Nation Radio on 920AM," a 24/7 sports-talk station to serve as the home for Raiders content year-round.

PILOT, NAB's technology innovation initiative, is now accepting submissions for the fifth annual PILOT Innovation Challenge. PILOT allows broadcasters to expand and enhance remote television and radio operations.

KSEI AM 930 in Pocatello, Idaho and KXKS AM 1190 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, are adding the full Salem Radio Network talk lineup. The stations are also adding Townhall news to the top and bottom of the hour.

The learning language site held on to the top spot on the Media Monitors chart last week by airing 67,149 commercials on radio stations across the country. The United States Census Bureau jumped to 2nd from 6th with 51,435 spots.

97.1 The Ticket host Jamie Samuelsen says he was diagnosed with colon cancer nearly two years ago. The radio vet, who has been covering sports for nearly 30 years in Motown; shared the news on the Jamie & Stoney Show Monday morning.
