News Radio 1020 KDKA will simulcast on FM for the first time ever and be heard as 100.1 FM and 1020 AM KDKA, effective November 2. Giving up the dial position is WAMO-FM; it will move to 107.3 FM

Gen Media Partners, J.L. Farmakis, Inc. and Cherry Creek Media have entered into a three-way partnership to expand the Pacific Northwest Ag Network. The network serves radio stations across Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
WSOU Clothing Drive Success
WSOU 89.5 FM, the student-run radio station at Seton Hall University, set a new record for donations to its annual clothing drive. The drive benefits the Our Lady of the Sioux Church on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

Bell, Entercom Part Ways
Wendy Bell is officially gone from KDKA-Radio in Pittsburgh after being taken off the air in September. During her show last month Bell suggested park rangers should “shoot on sight” people vandalizing public monuments. Bell and Entercom mutually agreed to end their relationship.

WLZL – El Zol 107.9 raised a whopping 289,342.00 to benefit St Jude hospital in just a little over 12 hours. That brings the total raised by El Zol in the last 4 years to 1.3 million dollars to help cure Childhood Cancer.
