Facebook Embraces Audio, Podcasting
Everyone is finally realizing how powerful audio is. Facebook reported that more than 170 million people follow podcast pages on its platform and the company plans to make it easier to access podcasts. Facebook is also launching a new product very similar to Clubhouse. The company also stated the obvious: "We think a lot of magic happens at the intersection of audio formats."
Alpha Pulls in $135K For Kids
Alpha Media's Watertown cluster held its 21st annual Sanford Children's Miracle Network Radiothon on April 14th and 15th, raising more than $135,000. It was a record amount raised by the cluster.
