(By Loyd Ford) If you really know me, you know I believe in mentors. For many years I was exceedingly fortunate to have Rusty Walker as my mentor. Since his untimely death, I have been fortunate to get a new mentor; he’s a disruptor and an innovator.

The former radio host has become quite successful as a solo podcaster,including bringing in local advertisers to support him. We spoke to Eric about how he put it all together in our Friday morning Facebook Live interview. He also broadcast our interview on his show in Grand Rapids. Watch it HERE.

The Kansas station is now owned by Bruce Dierking, who began as an announcer on KNDY at age 14. KNDY-AM was founded in 1956 by an investor group. KNDY-FM was added in the 1970's and a translator at 94.1 a few years back. The station plays Classic Country. More HERE.
