After a year as Managing Partner at a Portland marketing firm, Former iHeartMedia Region President Robert Dove is rejoining radio. Dove is joining Alpha Media Portland as Market Manager, as current manager Lisa Decker prepares for retirement at 2023’s end.
Decker spent seven years leading Alpha Portland.
Dove brings 36 years of broadcasting experience to the role, with five years as iHeart’s five Pacific Northwest markets of Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Anchorage, and Fairbanks. Before that, he was iHeart Portland’s Market President for a decade and spent another five years as Market President in Eugene.
Over the years, Dove has earned significant recognition, including being named Broadcaster of the Year by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters. He has also been on boards for the OAB, WSAB, Susan G Komen for the Cure, Oregon Ethics in Business, and The Edward R. Murrow Professional Advisory Board.
