Westwood One is launching an 11-part series of reports in honor of the men and women of our military for Veterans Day. Each report is approximately one minute long and will feature the men and women who make up the U.S. veteran population.
The reports will examine health, education, and readjustment issues impacting veterans — and provide listeners ways they can show concern for those who’ve worn their nation’s uniform — by making Veterans Day not just an occasion to offer former military people a “thanks for your service,” but a day of service to those who’ve served. The series is reported and produced by Westwood One News reporter Chas Henry (pictured), himself a combat-decorated veteran of the 1991 Gulf War.
