Adams Radio of Delmarva (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia) has named Layne VP/GM, beginning June 17, for the cluster of WZBH, WOCQ, WGBG, WUSX, and KOOL FM.
Layne began her radio career nearly 25 years ago as a part-time, weekend DJ in Danville, VA. She next landed a co-host role at WZBB in Southern Virginia for 11 years before moving to sales in Greensboro, NC, with Entercom. She was then GM in the Poconos for Nassau Broadcasting, moved back to southern Virginia with iHeart in Roanoke and Lynchburg, before transferring to iHeart DC. She has served as GSM for Delmarva Broadcasting (now Forever Media) at WXCY in Maryland since 2014.
